* gay slang uke *

I don't know much about the gay scene ( i a't gay and i'm not even a guy ^^;) but i am crazy about yaoi ( gay manga's) what i often see those manga's is that there is actually always one e and one seme. actually though youre all probably rrect some way, seme and e do not refer only to gay men. Im bi and i love both yuri and yaoi and so many of my iends are eher to yaoi or are gay, so i know somewhat.

I thk the Seme-e stereotype is most mon yaoi manga and do not necsarily reflect the realy of gays Japan.

In Japane, tachi タチ, neko ネコ, and riba リバ are gay slangs for "top, " "bottom, " and "swch, " rpectively. Not to be nfed wh the homonyms: ~tachi ~達, the pluralizg suffix, and neko 猫, meang a "t, " the animal.

GAY SLANG 101

" Sce some people say the "top" is the "man" a homosexual uple, the word tachi me to mean that.

When seme and e are ed real life, they refer to the "assertive" and "passive, " or to "domant" and "submissive"—who tak lead and who's led a sexual relatnship—while tachi and neko (at least to gays) refer to who perat and who's perated.

This is one of the sillit thgs I've e across, but, apparently, gay datg webs, the 凸凹回 kanji are ed to symbolize tachi, neko and riba.
