Waters sent a sthg msage to Cy Council District 2 ndidate Mike Gay for a mpaign mailer that Waters said implied the sheriff supports Gay. However, Waters supports Ldsey Brock, who is Gay’s opponent. “This implitn that I support your mpaign is a blatant attempt to ceive the voters of Jacksonville, ” Waters said a statement to Gay.
The mailer shows a photo of Waters and Gay shakg hands and a quote that reads: “Received unprecented endorsements & support om lol lears & fah-based anizatns. “Let me be perfectly clear: I do not support you, ” Waters said the statement to Gay Thursday.
