Runng for roughly two weeks, Germany's inic gay cy is host to a seri polil, cultural, and party events that celebrate everythg LGBTQ related. The two highlights of Cologne Gay Pri, however, are the CSD Street Ftival, which transpir many of the cy's public squar (platz) and of urse the Pri Para, referred to lolly as the CSD Demonstratn.
Cologne Gay Pri first started as a relatively small monstratn 1991.
Organized by the Cologne Associatn for Gays and Lbians, the event followed the maxim of "Good Friends Come Together" and was weled wh open arms om the get-go. As wh any Pri, Cologne Gay Pri is a firm advotor for the legal and social acceptance of lbian, gay, bisexual, tersexual and transgenr dividuals. While Cologne Gay Pri ually lasts for roughly two weeks, thgs really heat up on the event's fal weekend.
