Chris has jt e out as gay on Neighbours, problem is that he isn't a ma character and acrdg to reports, they don't know what to do wh the character. Home and Away had a uple of gay characters.

The producers of H&A have always said there was no pot tryg to have gay characters G rated shows as the l regardg what n't be shown ma impossible anyway. This has been discsed many tim on this fom, Atralia is a backward and nservative untry that don't like seeg gay people on tv. I don't thk that gay people should appear any programme jt to tick a box.
I thk there has to be a fair repersentatn of gay/lbian people soaps as there is real life. Atralia is very backward lookg when to portrayg gay people on screen.

I agree that gay/lbian people need to be reprented on tv, but not necsarily soaps. The people that are voved soaps seem to lack creativy or are unwillg to e up wh proper storyl for gay/lbian people.
I would like to see a storyle that volv a gay person, but is not about their sexualy, personally I'm sick of the syoryl where g out "is" the storyle.
