Producer/director Mart Baker has done a phenomenal and sensive job of puttg the life of sger Marv Gaye together for this package, Behd the Legend: Marv Gaye. The psychologil profile that unfolds om the terviews wh former wiv, children, brother, Gaye's micians and bs associat is food for thought: Couldn't anyone have stopped this out-of-ntrol tra and put back on the tracks?

Clips of Marv Gaye performg solo at the piano for "Come Get This, " as well as the vio for "Funky Space Rernatn, " along wh live performance footage all be for a wonrful overview of this phenomenon om Motown.

There is great imagery this film, om the openg segment of "What's Gog On" wh the bombs droppg Vietnam, to the scenery of Hawaii, where Gaye got away om all, to Belgium and the bs of tourg and makg rerds.
