Thematic analys revealed that gay men experience genr and sexualy-related stra across all levels of their socelogil environment through social regulatn, homophobic discrimatn/harassment, and anti-effemacy prejudice. The gay men exprsed feelgs of self-loathg, shame, ternalized homonegativy, and isolatn as a rult. In examg teractns at each level of the socelogil environment, future rearch and practice may ga unrstandg the social phenomena and how to amelrate such stra.
