This study explored the experienc of Filipo parents havg gay adolcent sons. The participants of the study were 20 Filipo parents wh gay sons aged 13 to 19. Parent's age ranged om 32 to 61 wh a Mean of 46 .Participants were selected om Metro Manila utilizg purposive samplg procre. Usg the Consens Qualative Rearch (CQR) Dign, data llectn was done g -pth terviews and se study methods. Twenty s (10 fathers and 10 mothers) were analyzed g the standard procre of the CQR method. Fdgs dite that Parents of Filipo gay adolcents went through a variety of strsors, and ma e of var pg rourc available to them such as fah and fay support ed var strategi such as prayer , gag knowledge , self py and blamg others etc… to al wh the strsors and arrived at a variety of experienc, which clud, enhanced relatnships , supportive parentg styl , nflictg relatnships and dysfunctnal parentg styl. The participants adopted different parentg strategi at the stag of their experience. Mothers of this study generally had better pg rourc and strategi and had more posive experienc pared to fathers on the fdgs of the study, the rearcher proposed implitn for unselg psychology theory and practice, and remendatns for future rearch.
