Statement of InclnGaL-AA (Gays and Lbians Alholics Anonymo) was tablished to serve and have the volvement of lbians, gay men, and others Alholics Anonymo, regardls of how they choose to intify themselv. While the name only directly reflects gays and lbians, we embrace all LGBT+ members of the AA fellowship. In fact, a full 25 percent of gay and transgenr people abe alhol, pared to jt five to 10 percent of the total populatn.
For some LGBT clients, this will clu addrsg the effects of ternalized homophobia. Another LGBT dividual said of the procs that led him to a gay group, “I refed to go to the gay groups bee I did not want to be intified as a homosexual.
