She was happit entertag iends, rg for the hoe that she lovgly rtored, and tendg to her most beloved role, however, was “Mamie” to her two grandchildren, Carole Abbott Ratliff and Shannon Harrison Ratliff, addn to her hband, children and grandchildren, Gay is survived by her dghter--law Rémi Abbott Ratliff and her son--law Augt “Happy” Harris; her sister Joy Kokernot and niece Sarah Kokernot; her goddghter Rosemary Ramsey Stewart; and her ar iend of 44 years Alicia Flor.
A memorial service celebratg Gay's life will be held at Grace Epispal Church Cuero, Texas, where Gay was baptized and married, on Wednday, April 26, at 11 AM.
