As far as I'm aware, there is no adoptn the game (really lame btw)... is there any way around this? Do gay upl then jt die out?

I too don't want my sims homosexual, i want them straight. I do play gay Sims a lot though (my current fay is two lbians) so I'm not sure I'd md. As a poster above mentned, Twallan's SP and MC have l to set for the mographics of the town, and you n effectively "turn off" homosexualy.

I've got a uple of towni that are gay and they're already a relatnship and very monogamo- even had one male sim slap another male when he flirted, then when I checked out the hoehold he had a boyiend.
I thk a built slir or "preference" optn would really be bt here, I don't thk those who want, or don't md tonomo homosexual relatnships should be forced to download a mod to enable (as if homosexualy is somehow more "viant" the game than heterosexual *rollsey*), any more than I thk people who don't want their active sims engagg sexual activy or relatnships opposed to their preference (If they have one) should be "forced" to . Usg Twallan's SP, you n easily see who is hetero/bi/gay when you click on Cy Hall. Gay sims?

I've been playg Sims 3 for a uple of weeks now, and recently I've seen two gay sim upl who are not part of my active fay... So the game self has ma the sims gay. well i found one of my born game sims was gay.
I have read that some Sims, such as Gobias Koffi, are pre-set as homosexual. I've jt now noticed that I haven't ma more than one gay uple my game...
But also bee havg a gay uple the sims don't seem so rewardg. I'm gay, and I prefer makg bombshell women marry to wealth.

Gobias Koffi is not pre-set gay bee he will marry femal story progrsn. I thk the chance for gettg gay upl the game is a random thg that n happen wh any new towni that move to the neighborhood. I do not have the full story mted to memory, but some batn of nfn (sign document nsistenci, or g an old sign document) and the sexualy of the guy charge of the thgs (he was gay) is the only reason this happened the first place.
Inially the game was not gog to have gay upl or gay romantic teractns whatsoever!

By sheer cince, the game lnched wh gay teractns as a possibily. Thanks to u/atedwater for this, the actual story is pretty much what I said above, but wh the add twist of an earlier versn of the game at E3 beg ma wh the outdated sign document, accintally showg off a gay kiss, and changg thgs forever!

Though homosexualy was an accint, there was a mercial for the game featurg a man a club flirtg wh a woman, before sudnly beg drawn to a man! Gay Sims were fally allowed to get married!
Their preference is termed by teractns (so if the player teracts as a male wh a male NPC, that male NPC gradually "be gay" and will not outright reject the sim unls they have prevly "bee straight") and n change over time, based entirely on player directn.
Sims are not tonomoly gay or straight wh other sims until the player tablish their sexualy by hand. In The Sims 3, all is well wh the world, as gay sims n fally get married. The Sims 3 featur the first ever non-gay prema Sim s origal town Sunset Valley- Gobias Koffi (y, based on Tobias om Arrted Development) whose profile says he prefers the pany of male iends.
