The aim of this study was to terme if genr stratifitn of stments is different om prev rearch when applied to the LGBTQ populatn, as such this study vtigat how stment-genr stereotypg manifts Lbian Gay Bisexual Transgenr Qutng (LGBTQ) muny based ensembl.

Participants (N = 458) were stmentalist om 39 muny ensembl of the Lbian and Gay Band Associatn (LGBA). Participants also dited their sexual orientatn as homosexual (79%), heterosexual (9%), bisexual (5%), pansexual (4%), qutng (2%), or Other (<1%).

Lbian and Gay Band Associatn (LGBA) is a mil anizatn prised of ncert and marchg bands om ci across the Uned Stat and the world. Formed 1982 as Lbian and Gay Bands of Ameri when seven pennt bands met formally Chigo, the Associatn has grown to 38 member anizatns cludg ternatnal bands.

Members of LGBA also performed durg both gurals of Print Bill Clton 1993 and LGBA performed Washgton, DC for the March on Washgton for Lbian, Gay and Bi Equal Rights and Liberatn (1987) and aga for the Millennium March on Washgton April 2000 wh ncerts at the Warner Theatre (1993) and on the steps of the Lln Memorial (2000) 4th LGBA Conference was held Los Angel, CA and featured a Concert at the Hollywood Bowl wh special gut Ra Moreno. The ncert, A Gay Night at the Bowl was performed on June 30, 1984.
