I wasn't sure how AH was gog to nvert Vlad, a rd rryg homophobe, to a sympathetic character, but you know what? While Vlad's homophobia is purely a product of his upbrgg, Sebastian has a ltle baggage of his own not tstg himself to love aga.

Between Vlad's reprsed homosexualy and Sebastian's securi, the guys have a full plate, wonrfully lic plexy and emotns. It was difficult at first to hold on and make through all the slurs and ternalized homophobia but the pay out was worth the endg did feel abpt and I would have loved to see them have more time as an actual uple.

Reviewed the Uned Kgdom ?? on July 18, 2023This is the bt one of the seri so far for me, I didn’t really like Vlad the prev book, I didn’t thk anythg uld change to make me like him, but once you see what’s gog on si his head, you n’t really help , and once he started to let his guard down a b wh Sebastian, I absolutely loved book als que a b wh ternalised homophobia, and how upbrgg and culture n effect someone so greatly. As regards the two MC’s, one has been a victim of homophobic abe sce his teens and the other was brought up to believe was a disease and much you’ve read prev books this seri you will remember Roman Demiv, the Rsian Billnaire and his romance wh Le, the son of his Brish ex bs partner.

There is a Cult that foc on kidnappg and killg gay men and Roman is worried for is not happy, but he n’t refe Roman. Inially I found difficult to nnect wh eher of the MC’s, pecially Vlad and his rampant homophobia. And although the sexy, but gmpy Rsian is tank-like build, Sebastian is by no means small or dimutive, aga makg them more on a par than most of the prev jt knows how to wre the hell out of a good sex scene, and therefore the smok’ hot, pent-up anger-fuelled sex and bucket-loads of UST between the guys was pretty much a guarantee, as Vlad is so nflicted about his sexualy due to the severy of his homophobic upbrgg back home Rsia, that he n't bear the sire he feels for Sebastian when he first meets him, or the fact he n’t keep his hands off him.
