QAF started for me as a superficial soap about gay life. Their sular gay world Ptsburgh was rehg. The relatnships work betifully and you see a fairly reprentative slice of gay life on this seri.

Sure everyone always seems to be showg up at the big gay club wh s go-go dancers and steamy back room. But how wonrful to have a show all about gay people where nobody gets killed for beg gay, or ms suici or is some sort of prsn or any other negative suatns that have been such a feature of films showg gay characters as life's losers. Sharon Gls's workg Mom wars n be abrasively gratg at tim, but she prents a lovg mother to a gay son, and that's a good thg.
