Created by artists who were part of the Send Cy’s Off-Loop theater movement of the early 1970s, Lnheart was tend to be more experimental, more satiric, ls formulaic, more event-oriented than gay theater existg elsewhere. Lnheart was the first pany to perform gay and lbian material on Chigo rad and was the first gay/lbian performance group to be sponsored by the cy.

It prented the world’s first play about AIDS (“One”, by Jeff Hagedorn), had the first gay/lbian Off-Loop unrground h (“Gunsel”), and offered the first play on lbian domtic vlence (“Behd the Curta”).
