I found out I'm gog to be my school's first openly gay teacher. I never had any openly gay tors until my fal year of llege. I never advertised like, "Hey everyone, I'm GAY!
Course evals would often say that my openns 1) showed a realistic reprentatn of what meant to be gay, and 2) ma other queer/closeted stunts feel more fortable about who they were. But to be hont, I don't know for sure, bee you're gog to be our first openly gay teacher.
You're gog to be impactful for our stunts, pecially those who are gay themselv or who are closeted and feel like they have no one to talk to.
