Among the loung that dot River North, Downtown stands as the sole gay bar save for the stalwart dive Send Story nearby Streeterville. As a veteran of many a Boystown bar hop, I had cid to vis both spots and evaluate the possibily of a new gay district on Chigo’s nightlife horizon. “You get the ocsnal tourist who tak a look around and announc he wouldn’t be ught ad havg a drk here, but mostly they jt ask if ’s a gay bar and then they stick around, ” he replied.
