So Duchs and Gay were able to live out their liv wh the bt of re om their keepers and the love of legns of zoo elephants arrived at Paignton Zoo om Longleat Safari Park 1977. Asian elephant Gay was born 1970 and had been wh Fawcett’s Circ Ireland before her move to Longleat. Duchs and Gay both arrived to the Paignton Zoo om Longleat Safari 1977.
In April 2005, the zoo began separatg the pair at night after Gay suffered a tk jury overnight om Dutchs.
