The stori have largely foced on gay men, but one of the most heartfelt is the g-of-age lbian drama Blue Gate Crossg.
In s basic premise, the movie is an echo of director Yee Chih-yen’s but Lonely Hearts Club (寂寞芳心俱乐部 jìmò fāngxīn jùlèbù) (1996), which is about an acuntant who disvers her new csh at work is gay. Taiwan is supposedly makg a reboot, which ma the fans go ballistic, (pecially sce Taiwan are allowed to show actual gay ntent and therefore n clu at least some of the VERY graphic ntent om the novels) but turned out that the story is a ee adaptatn and do not clu the guys.
I've revised my opn about most of the BL/Gay themed movi and dramas I ed to love back the days when the assortment was sparse and I was ls of a nnaissr (lol), but this is one of few that I haven't downrated wh time. It's not jt a good gay themed movie. ) Not BL but gay theme (which is jt a part of the much bigger picture), not light, not is cematic art at s bt, se you want to watch some te qualy film-makg, om one of my all time fav directors--Zhang Yimou.
