An analysis of the novels Go Tell It On the Mounta (1953), Gvanni's Room (1956), Another Country (1962), and Jt Above My Head ( 1979) will monstrate his movement om alg wh homosexualy as an unrlyg theme to g as a tool to prott agast any kds of labels the Amerin society. Baldw believed that discrimatn nnot cease as long as the tegorizatn of people through artificial nstcts such as the "Negro" or the "homosexual" exists.
