Nearly two-thirds (65%) of those who attend relig servic at least weekly oppose allowg gays and lbians to marry, as do 59% of those who say relign is very important their liv. However, while Hispanics are more likely to support gay marriage than to oppose , they are roughly evenly divid regardg gay adoptn, wh 44% favor and 48% opposed.
