I'd discsed a fom post the other week about fictn wh LGBT+ characters and how they are treated on the se (generally pretty well tbh) and I me to the realisatn that all the years I have been here, I have never heard or read a fictn on RR wh a gay male lead. The creria for perfect remendatn would be a cis male homosexual protagonist.
The ma reasons for the specific creria is bee a gay characters do exist fictns but they are often ed largely for their sexual value and whilst I have seen a uple of s like Kami Kettu where the character is genr-bent some way, I am yet to see someone play straight (lol) and jt have a gay du be their protagonist and not even talk about . I have never wrten a gay male as the protagonist of any of my stori (due to mostly wrg female protagonists) and I have yet to read even a sgle story on Royal Road wh a gay male protagonist.
