Virgia “Gay” was born on September 21, 1959, New Bern to Guy and Virgia Hart. Virgia was given her mother’s name and loved g as an adult; her fay knew her by her middle name “Gay”.

Virgia Gay is survived by her son, Donald Hart Davenport as well as brothers, Al Hart (Carol) and Darrel Hart both of New Bern. Virgia Gay will be greatly missed.

Gay’s journey began on December 1, 1933 Streeter, Wt Virgia wh her parents Earl Basham and Lura Woods Basham.

Gay was raised Streeter wh her six siblgs – Nade, Clarence, Cl, Quton, Jim, and Libby. Gay graduated om Hton High School Hton, WV and moved to Marietta, OH after graduatn. Gay loved garng, patg, sewg, playg sudoku, and her church fay at Evergreen Bible Church.

Gay is survived by her sons, Mark (Barbara) Mackey of Reno, Oh, Todd (Valerie) Mackey of Dayton, TX and dghter, Jetta Wtbrook (Stt Ward) of Reno, Oh. Gay was preced ath by her first-born son, Ricky Mackey, her sister, Nade Longiciu, brothers Cl, Jim, and Quton Basham, and parents Earl and Lura.
