When I stumbled downstairs at Cz 101 – Manchter’s biggt gay club – I didn’t fully expect what I’d fd down below. Pop mic seems to fuel the gay scene Manchter—’s all pop, all the time—pecially throughout the gay neighborhood. Of urse there are other bars and clubs wh varyg mil tast, but largely, Manchter’s gay scene is poptastic (cintally, that’s the name of one of Manchter’s most popular queer club nights).

This iendly atmosphere of bohemians and punks, queers, femm, gays, queens and chavs— Manchter somehow all together to create a cy that’s open-md and welg. The gay village the cy center, centered along Canal Street, attracts thoands of visors each weekend—wh bars full of every type of dividual and people spillg out on onto the streets, often sloppy and silly—but that’s the charm of gay Manchter.
