It was born out of a profound need for gay Asians to have a fom which to discs problems and needs of mutual ncern, and to look for solutns to the issu facg them.

Prr to 1980, throughout the gay scene of Los Angel, Asian men were rarely seen at most of the bars, clubs and bathho that nstuted the social scene for gay men.
