Data was llected through dividual face-to-face semi-stctured terviews, telephone terviews and e-mail rpons wh 7 social workers and agency staff the cy of New Haven, Connecticut, who were reced through purposeful samplg. Emergent them this study dited that the participants did not make assumptns about sexual inty. The participants also rerced same genr relatnships as beg normal, addrsed homophobia, and supported their clients. However, the participants lacked tn and trag about the stag of g out and how to provi support to LGBT youth who may be experiencg strsors related to disverg or disclosg their sexual inty.
