Now, bee I am gay and many gay and queer dividuals, unfortunately, have to go through trma, challeng, and obstacl om fay and society, this giv me a perspective that perhaps many others do not have. We go through that journey of self-disvery, fdg yourself, self-love, etc, beg gay or queer jt don't mean behavg, actg, or lookg like the other genr.
Meang, gay and queer shamans reprent all spirs as part of our journey and inty. Fortunately for me, I haven't faced many challengg moments when to beg a "gay" shaman, at least not the same way as my personal life and relatnships. I have the power to share wh others my gay inty and who I am, not everyone serv to know.
I've e to unrstand that people who have an issue wh anyone who's gay/queer, that's an issue on them. Me beg gay isn't the issue, the issue is secure people.

Hetero-secury is an issue not for gay people to rolve, we shouldn't be shut out bee another man or woman feels secure of their own beliefs, so stead allow them to be mad. That's a healg journey for people all on their own, has nothg to do wh who we are as gay/queer Hmong Shamans are out there and we've always existed. At 16, I realized that I am gay.
But I didn’t know how nflictg my gay and my Hmong inti the 2004 printial electns, I heard my mother scream at the televisn and say ( Hmong) “that gays are more vile and disgtg than dogs and should never be allowed to get married. ” This was the first time I n remember anyone talkg about lbian, gay, bisexual, transgenr, and queer the time, I didn’t know how to react.
