Gay-Straight Allianc or Genr-Sexualy Allianc (GSAs): A GSA is a noncurricular stunt-led club — jt like Chs Club or Fellowship of Christian Athlet — for stunts wh a shared tert LGBTQ issu. Schools n be difficult environments for stunts, regardls of their sexual orientatn or genr inty, but they are often pecially unwelg for lbian, gay, bisexual, and transgenr (LGBT) youth.
Many LGBT youth have anized gay-straight allianc (GSAs), which n serve as important rourc for stunts and as supportive spac to unteract bullyg and stutnal silence about issu of importance to them. When stunts themselv began anizg the 1990s, many school admistrators across the US unsuccsfully fought to rtrict the formatn and operatn of gay-straight allianc (GSAs) schools, argug that the clubs were appropriate for youth.
