The first offerg om the Southsi Chigo native’s newt project is a pulsg melodic bellow featurg OHMME sgers Sima Cunngham and Macie Stewart, tled "Sometim I Fet How Summer Looks on You." In November 2020, Chigo multi-stmentalist Ben LaMar Gay buted his long-form posn Certa Reveri at a London Jazz Ftival livtream show. The performance was no mere park-and-play: wearg a black hood shawl that relled the grim reaper, Gay played electronics, synths, and of urse his r, and llaboratn wh brilliant percsnist Tommaso Moretti, he guid dienc through hntg dreamsp for more than an hour. Almost two years after the origal stream, Gay is releasg the d om that remarkable live performance on lol label Internatnal Anthem, anized to 11 tracks.

The origal Certa Reveri stream was patently a panmic artwork, down to a short-film terlu shot si Gay’s apartment.
Gay’s lamentg phras “Sk” sound like they’re g om behd a curta; actualy, on that prevacce ocsn, he and Moretti wore masks bee they were performg together close quarters. ” Gay repris the first sectn of Certa Reveri (“You A’t Never Lied” on the album) at the end of the posn (“New Tongu Tell Old Fibs” on the album), repeatg s tle rea and playg back distorted sampl of his and Moretti’s earlier improvisatns.
