Tuday, January 10, the Imperial County Board of Supervisors announced the appotment of John Gay as the new Director of the Imperial County Department of Public Works (ICDPW) to replace former Director Bill B who retired September 2016.
Gay was also appoted as the Imperial County Road Commissner.

Gay has been an employee of the ICDPW sce 2011 where he first served as the Deputy Director of Public Works, Engeerg until he was appoted to serve as the Interim Director of Public Works upon the retirement of former Director Bill B. Prr to jog the County of Imperial, Gay worked for the Cy of El Centro for 10 years, ially as the Associate Engeer om 2001 until 2005 and later beg the Senr Engeer om 2005 until his parture 2011.
As the Director of ICDPW, Gay will lead the partment s missn to prerve and enhance public safety and qualy of life through reliable, st effective astcture and ntually improve qualy of service through optimal rource management.
