Reflectg a new form of exprsn of sexualy, homosexualy is a ndn which a dividual seeks sexual, erotic, and emotnal satisfactn wh someone of the same sex [1]. The word ‘homosexual’ was created 1868 and although the word ‘heterosexual’ was created and ed only 1930, heteronormative behavrs overlap the forms of homosexual exprsn [1].

In rponse to this suatn, the LGBT movement has been nsolidatg worldwi to nounce vlatns of human and social rights related to the homosexual populatn, and claim equal rights, pecially for accs to health servic, ee of prejudice and discrimatn [2]. Although this is a multifactorial scenar, may be further plited bee of the poor accs to health re and the discrimatory practic of volved profsnals stemmg om homophobia [3–5]. The fact is that experienc of discrimatn and prejudice agast sexual mori n directly ntribute to a poorer health stat [1] stigmatizatn imposed on sexual mori have enuraged the recent crease scientific studi around homosexualy and s relatnship wh the procs of health and disease [6].
