Sce I found out I was gay, and as everyone else around me started maturg, grew creasgly harr to socialize to even the clost iends I had, sce I was lyg to them about such a huge, unfettable part of me. The siari between this relign's place our society and the gay rights movement is the film's clevert and most meangful ntributn.

How uld the higher ups of the church know that they were partnerg two latently gay men tryg to sexually fe themselv. I'd say the berator had more issu than the two latently gay young men was another scene where some redneck homophobe thought them beg too affectnate and got a nice beat down for his troubl om Fecci.
