In 2001 Gayol received a Grammy Award nomatn for his work wh The Flatlanrs on the Town Van Zandt tribute album 'Poet: A Tribute To Town Van Zandt'.

In 2002, Gayol was ved to rerd wh Bob Schneir on his third solo album I'm Good Now.

Schneir ved Gayol to jo his group, spanng over three years and rerdg a fourth album, The Californian. It was also at this time Gayol was remend by sger-songwrer Trish Murphy as a jgle dmmer.

Upon meetg the stud chief to offer a reel of his work, Gayol was told wh the first five sends, "You should be a Voice-over (VO) artist". Sce then Gayol has performed VO work for Dell, FedEx Office, NASCAR, Southwt Airl, Nortel, Time Warner Cable and Toshiba. In 2009, Gayol released a solo rerdg tled, Wag For Buddha. Gayol plays dms, sgs and tght himself to play the acpanyg stments as the rerdgs progrsed. " Gayol wrote, arranged, rerd and produced the project wh Shannon Phillips Gayol sgg backup on the openg track, "Shelter" and a stream-of-nscns-rap on the closg track, "Claimg Clary".

Gayol is married to Shannon Phillips. Upon seeg Shannon for the first time stg at her sk and diligently takg lls, took another month before Gayol uld even troduce himself to her. Gayol plays Dm Workshop dms, Paiste cymbals, Vater dmsticks and bsh and Remo dmheads.
