The Gay, Lbian and Straight Edutn Network (GLSEN) nducted a survey of 496 lbian, gay, bisexual, and transgenr (LGBT) stunts om 32 stat. This survey found that over 90% of LGBT youth reported that they sometim or equently heard homophobic ments their schools. Over one-third of youth reported that no outsi party ever tervened when homophobic remarks were ma their school environment, acrdg to GLSEN’s “Natnal School Climate Survey.
