They created a staable anizatn where there had been none before, the worlds first trans anizatn, Street Transvte Actn Revolutnari, which was a mtee of the Gay Liberatn Front, formed durg the GLF occupatn of NYU’s Weste Hall. The overlap of this velopment wh right-wg attempts to rollback hard-won rights to bodily tonomy and sexual and reproductive rights, and to enforce the rigid heterosexist genr rol unrpng patriarchal opprsn, has been viewed wh mountg horror by many om the Gay Liberatn Front and Women’s Liberatn Movement who fought for those rights.
