In orr to mata the health and safety of our mic and dance muny, the Gays Mills Folk Ftival of Mic and Dance will not take place on Mother's Day Weekend, May 8-10, 2020.

The 28th annual Folk Ftival of Mic and Dance betiful Gays Mills, WI offers an open stage, mic workshops, May Crown makg and May Pole dancg, and an eveng ncert. People attendg the Gays Mills Sprg Ftival this weekend might be a ltle surprised by what they fd, pecially if they haven’t been back to the village sce last sprg.

In fact, the village has unrgone substantial chang sce the Gays Mills Apple Ftival held this past fall. Well, the Gays Mills Public Library, the Gays Mills Village Hall, the Ooch Mounta Rcue EMS Buildg and the Gays Mills Department of Public Works Buildg have all been nstcted wh the last year.

A 12, 000-square foot strip mall lled the Gays Mills Merntile Center has also been nstcted. Those bs have been joed by three others at the Merntile Center, which is near the recently pletely Gays Mills Communy Commerce Center also loted on Highway 131 on the north si of the village.

In addn to the village hall and public library, the Gays Mills Communy Commerce Center is also home to the Kickapoo Culary Center, a well-equipped shared e kchen, signed to serve the muny as a food bs cubator. The store is loted jt north of the Gays Mills Merntile Center on Highway 131.

Although many thgs have changed Gays Mills durg the past year, a lot is still the same. Participants the Gays Mills Folk Ftival of Mic and Dance will also e the same park as last year.

The big Saturday night ncert will be held at the old Gays Mills Communy Buildg on Ma Street, jt like last year. In addn to the Lil’ Brch Roo and Gays Mills Folk Ftival, an antique tractor pull has been add to the list of activi this year.

The antique tractor pull, lled ‘Old Iron Revival’ is planned for Saturday, May 12 on Gay Street jt off Ma Street.

Bs at the new Gays Mills Merntile Center, as well as the bs on Ma Street and elsewhere, will participate a Gays Mills Open Hoe Day. Although the orchards won’t be blossom this year, there’s still plenty to see and do the Gays Mills area.
