Many regnised his homosexualy om the start, but for s Spa's lerary tablishment, and even his own fay, refed to acknowledge that the untry's bt loved poet, Feri Garcia Lor, was gay. Now his bgrapher, Ian Gibson, has nclive evince that Lor's poetic achievements sprang om his lifelong tratn at ncealg his Lor y el mundo gay (Lor and the Gay World), published Spanish on Monday, Gibson scrib how the poet's works were censored to nceal his sexualy.

CHAPTER FOUR: LOR AS GAY IN

PRIDE MONTH + Gay History – June 5: Torch Song Trilogy, Feri Garcia Lor, The Commtee for Homosexual Freedom and MORE! * lorca gay *

A new film is to pict a gay love affair between Salvador Dali, the eccentric master of the avant-gar, and his fellow Spaniard Feri Garcia Lor, the doomed dramatist and Ash, a UK-Spanish productn, is set the cultural and polil tumult of Twenti Madrid and follows the tense iendship of three revolutnary young artists: Dali, Lor and the Surrealist film maker Luis Bunuel.

Although a physilly timate relatnship between the men has long been moured, Dali told terviewers more than once that he rejected the homosexual Lor's attempts to sce him.
