The followg year, the Geia Gay Liberatn Front anized Atlanta’s first Pri para. Around 100 monstrators—mostly whe mal—marched down Midtown’s siwalks rryg “Equal Rights for Gays” posters. Mayor Maynard Jackson clared the day of the para, June 26, to be Gay Pri Day Atlanta.
