Gay hockey players pot to the e of sually homophobic language, such as sayg “that’s so gay” to refer to somethg negative, as a barrier that prevents them om g out. Even amongst straight hockey players, there is a fear of beg viewed as gay, or of not nformg to the image that has been nstcted of what a hockey player should be.
