Carlyle also claims that the film’s director, Danny Boyle wanted him to portray a “homosexual Ian Rh look” so he grew a motache siar to that of the Liverpool striker and drsed brightly loured Prgle jerseys and stay-prsed troers.
But Robert Carlyle, who played the character on screen, has revealed he was a reprsed homosexual, whose random acts of sickeng vlence were motivated by his fear of beg outed.
