The aim of this study was to terme if genr stratifitn of stments is different om prev rearch when applied to the LGBTQ populatn, as such this study vtigat how stment-genr stereotypg manifts Lbian Gay Bisexual Transgenr Qutng (LGBTQ) muny based ensembl.

Participants (N = 458) were stmentalist om 39 muny ensembl of the Lbian and Gay Band Associatn (LGBA). Participants also dited their sexual orientatn as homosexual (79%), heterosexual (9%), bisexual (5%), pansexual (4%), qutng (2%), or Other (<1%).

In 2003 LGBA voted to nduct bs as the Lbian and Gay Band Associatn, to reflect the ternatnal diversy of the membership. The Lbian and Gay Band Associatn remas dited to s origal goals:Providg a work of lbian and gay bands at all stag of velopment. Membership bands is open to lbian, gay, bisexual, transgenr and straight people of all genrs and any level of micianship.
