It tak place on a Yorkshire farm: a place of big ski and bter temperatur. This is not an idle English pastoral but a place of work. We open early Sprg wh the lambg season. Johnny (O’Connor) is stgglg to keep his fay farm orr after his father’s stroke. He drks too much and has furtive sual sex wh other young men at ttle ctns. When Romanian migrant worker Ghee (Secăreanu) arriv to help wh the pregnant ew, Johnny is rentful at the tsn, the suggtn that he nnot pe alone. Up on the hills, silence eventually giv way to sire.
