Gay’s first profsnal appearance was as a Juvenile performer Pantomime at Coventry Hippodrome. Alongsi the Dance trag Gay also traed as a Soprano, g the name Gabrielle Webb. Her favoure role was playg the leadg part of Ale “Gay Rosalda” the mil edy versn of Johann Strss’ Die Flrms.
Gay named her dghter Ale bee of the enjoyment she found playg the role.

On the 4th of January 2009 Gay Harris was award an MBE for her servic to Dance and the Communy. Ale is the dghter of Gay Harris and now ns “The Gay Harris Dancers”. Ale also appeared a Productn of Crella at the Paviln Theatre Rhyl along si Gayle and Gillian Blakeney (Alsi Tws – Neighbours).

Ale has also been rponsible for the choreography for var fashn shows and of urse all of the Gay Harris Dancers Productns. Growg up Prtatyn Ja traed and performed wh The Gay Harris Dancers before studyg for a BA Hons Mil Theatre at Colchter Instute and then trag for a year at the Italia Conti Theatre Arts. After studyg Ja tght Mil Theatre, Drama, Dance, Sgg and Piano London for 5 years but regularly me home and led her own Mil Theatre Workshops and was also a gut teacher at Gay Harris.
Dan is exced to be teachg for The Gay Harris Dancers, passg on his knowledge and experience of the performg world wh the stars of the future. New this year is our matee which is also a BSL signed performance by Rachel Green herself havg been a Gay Harris Dancer!

The Gay Harris Dancers have been performg their annual summer productn at the Paviln Theatre for over 20 years and Rhyl self for many years more. The Gay Harris Dancers was formed 1970 the upstairs room of Mrs Gay Harris MBE’s property on Conwy Street, Rhyl, for her dghter Ale and jt a few school iends. Ale Harris, dghter of Gay, said: “Our stunts are so eager to get back on the stage; we’ve had to rchle the show twice, and they’ve also missed out on panto.

The Gay Harris Dancers will not perform their summer season for the first time 50 years.
The Gay Harris Dancers have booked a date November to hopefully put on a show and the school also hop to be back on stage durg the Panto season Rhyl this Christmas. Gay Harris receiv an MBE om Prcs Anne 2009.

Established 1970 by veteran dance, 2009 MBE recipient and Ms Harris mother Gay Harris, the school held the distctn of playg the last show at the old Paviln theatre and openg the current venue 1991. In prev years the Gay Harris Dancers played longer, six week summer seasons at venu such as the Gaey Theatre and the Colism.
