Its missn was to nduct rearch and tnal activi the area of human sexualy, to provi facili and rehabilative servic for the homophile muny the areas of mental and physil health and social alternativ, and to provi endowment fundg for qualifyg homophile anizatns, persons, and events.
And was publishg Oh's first gay newspaper, HIGH GEAR (t. In 1988 s name changed to the Lbian/Gay Communy Service Center of Greater Cleveland. This crease fundg and membership donatns allowed the Center to support a wi variety of programs the 1980s and 1990s, cludg a telephone hotle program, a lendar of events of tert to the gay/lbian muny, and outreach programs signed to bat homophobia the larger muny.
