I saw a hotel on the Warmostraat which is lled The Stable Master which i prume to be a gay/leather type hotel.
There is the 'gay street' Reguliersdwarsstraat which ns parallel to the flower market street one block back. There is also a specific gay red light district, lled the blue light district, which is at the Centraal Statn end of Spuistraat. It origally opened 1970, and although wasn’t the first gay bs the area, was the first one to be openly so, favourg large, open wdows to barred-up on.
In the late 70s and to the 80s, the street then began to explo wh new gay bars and clubs, helpg to cement Amsterdam’s role as an ternatnal gay pal.
