YOU MAY NOT BE THE BEST ENTERTAINER, BUT YOU JUST MADE US FEEL SO GOOD ABOUT BEING GAY AND THAT THINGS THAT WE THOUGHT WE COULD NEVER DO CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED IF WE JUST TRYMGA 2011-Coti Colls: Durg your reign, what was your most fg moment? MGA 1973-Norma Kristie: I DID NOT WANT THE FIRST MISS GAY AMERICA TO BE A SHOWGIRL, OF WHICH I DEFINITELY WASN'T… IT WAS ALL ABOUT THE IMAGE OF WHAT THE PROMOTER, JERRY PEEK, WAS LOOKING FOR THAT YEAR.

Miss Gay Ameri 1982 Jennifer Foxx: In 1977 I was employed at Booki Club 870  Detro Michigan and one of the performers who started the bs a few years before me was Miss Dani Daletto-Miss Gay Ameri 1976. I placed 40 out of 47 and flew the iendly ski home wh my tail between my the seed had been planted and I said to myself, " Someday I will achieve this goal and be Miss Gay Ameri....

Miss Gay Ameri 1982 Jennifer Foxx: Shortly after I won Miss Gay Ameri 1982 the natnally syndited talk show Tom Snyr Tomorrow ved my parents and I to make an appearance to promote the pageant. And of urse I would be remiss if I did not clu beg on the receivg end of The Norma Christie Lifetime Achievement Award prented to me at Miss Gay Ameri 2011.

I ntued to re-enforce the image that Miss Gay Ameri will ALWAYS be a male appearance that posss the unique artistic abily to re-create the visual prentatn and the idsyncratic mannerisms of blogil women. Is why every time as a nttant you walk across the stage, or as a promoter you also put endls hours, remember you are an extensn of this one mans' visn and that you rry on a legacy that was fed many years is still an extremely difficult venture to wh the astute skills of L and T Entertament, a more well-rmed promoter, and better workg between nttants and the system, we are seeg a sleeker, stronger Miss Gay Ameri. The future of The Miss Gay Ameri Pageantry System li wh nttants, the promoters and the I am not a judge at Miss Gay Ameri 2011 I had NEVER seen such a group of more acplished, ted, well-mannered, and articulate nttants only to be matched by the great prentatn and mment of the promoters om across our great land and ALL of the supportg staff of each.

I have asked some of the former Miss Gay Ameri’s to ment on the legendary Naomi Cholate-Miss Gay Ameri 1980:Naomi Sims will always rema my heart as one of my closet & art iends ever.... Catia Lee Love- Miss Gay Ameri 2000:Sadly, Naomi was already ceased when I me to the dtry, but g om Texas, I n fely say REVERED is the word for her.

Every performer had heard of her and aspired to be her, as well loved as Colls- Miss Gay Ameri 2011:Wh more energy than anyone the room, his strong prents projected passn everythg he did. How uld I have known that first night performg that I was beg groomed by three performers who were head for so much succs and who still took the time to steer my reer a directn that years later would help me obta the tle of Miss Gay Ameri 2001.

She had already been first alternate to Miss Gay Missouri and had been to Miss Gay Ameri… this was very excg to me and somethg that I wanted to pursue. One year later I won the crown of Miss Gay Midwt, and that same year Melda won Miss Gay Missouri and we were on our way to Dallas TX to pete at Miss Gay Ameri.

Regrettably Naomi Sims and Frz Capone are no longer wh but live the hearts of everyone they ever Gay Ameri 2011 Coti Colls: How many tim did you pete and how did you manage to keep h every year? Remember you not only have to please yourself and the crowd but most importantly you mt to please the five judg that s before Gay Ameri 2011 Coti Colls: I've always wanted to know.....
