In wrer/director Shane Black's new actn/thriller/edy/hard-boiled tective story, the l of the game are paid homage too, mocked, then turned on their head. Kilmer plays a gay private eye affectnately known as Gay Perry. Downey, Jr. is an unwtg fellow named Harry who accintally stumbl to Perry's world. Harry may talk tough and look nfint at first, but 's really Gay Perry who's the mcle. They make a very good livg the movi. He's a, you know talkg through wh Shane, cid that he was a good tective, but now he's got this nice niche like technil advisors do. I had one great one on a movie and one not so great one that were gun experts. I liked right away and I didn't really have to do that much terms of preparatn but jt talk to Shane and have fun and then see what Robert was gog to do, bee my character is functnary to his. Those rhythms of thgs, if he thought that there was maybe a possible dip the scene or we maybe need somethg else, or didn't que get somethg, that always happens. <br/> <br/> <strong>DOWNEY, JR.:</strong> But Val, and I speak for both of when I say Val, avoid that pfall that would have been almost impossible for me to not fall which is the mera is nng, you are Gay Perry and how n you not mp up? We're followg that guy down the hallway. So aga was stctual, me out of the character.
