I expected wir view on problem of later homosexual inty formatn. Reviewed the Uned Stat on May 10, 2013Simply and clearly wrten, this book transcends the "gay" perspective and offers to the rear an exploratn of a gay person's experience our society om a general human vantage pot.
Reviewed the Uned Stat on December 29, 2014First two or three chapters were fe, but the rt of the book was nothg more than about the analytil society and psychiatrists acceptg gay psychiatrists. Reviewed the Uned Stat on April 25, 2015The book tle is a b off as this book is more eful for psychologists rather then gay people tryg to e to terms wh themselv. I haven't found any good book yet on self-acceptance of homosexualy.

Reviewed Canada on January 8, 2013This is fely worth-readg; at least bee the thor is an tablished gay-intified therapist whom played an tegral role elimatg homosexualy as an illns om the APA. This book is bt sued for therapists whom are workg wh homosexuals. This book is so important bee was one of the first to really show the plited ways which gay men had to manage their inty, self and place a world that didn’t want them do exist.
While not one of Vidal’s “bt” works (to me, he’s an sayist first and a novelist send), The Pillar and the Cy is a mt-read bee of s place the queer non as one of the first regnized and reviewed gay novels. The fact that A Separate Peace ntually gets tght high school English urs baffl the bt possible way, as Knowl’ bt-known work is one of the most homoerotic bildungsromans ever wrten. The one character many gay men fd themselve nnectg wh is bisexual Pl Denton, who is love wh Sean Bateman, the dg aler of the story.
Their relatnship is pretty ambiguo the whole story and Ellis leav open to one’s own terpretatn, but I thk that is what has so many gay rears lovg Pl. Many gay men nnect wh Charlie wh his sense of isolatn the story and other experienc that you will have to read to fd out. There is a gay character who acts as one of Charlie’s clost iends So, that aids the ‘gayns’ of the book.
