A party took place at the McGregor Center on the mp of Wayne State Universy followg the rally, anized by a small number of dited Gay and Lbian groups and 1989, the Gay and Lbian civil rights march was moved to the more central lotn of Lansg to attract statewi participatn and polil awarens as well as to celebrate the 20th anniversary of New York Cy’s Stonewall Rts, the begng of the morn day movement of equal rights for Lbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgenr cizens.
