On Wednday, a Bernalillo County rint filed a requt askg a Santa Fe state district urt judge to orr attorney general ndidate Jeremy Gay off the ballot. Jam Collie, who served a short stt as a Bernalillo County missner, filed a petn wh the urt allegg that Gay has not lived New Mexi long enough to qualify as a ndidate.

Collie’s attorney, Ryan Harrigan, wrote the urt filg that votg rerds om both Florida and New Mexi, as well as Gay’s ary rerds, show that Gay was not a rint of of New Mexi until 2019, about two years shy of what’s required by the New Mexi Constutn to n for public office.
