The beach is also known for beg a hub of Melbourne's LGBTQ+ muny, and is sometim referred to as the "gay beach" due to s populary wh LGBTQ+ dividuals and the many LGBTQ+ iendly bs and events that are held the area. The gay beach is also well nnected to the cy center by a work of pestrian paths and walkg trails.
